Our Story
Our story unfolded amidst a profound challenge at the end of the pandemic. In 2021my diagnosis and battle with breast cancer didn't just redefine my life's journey; it reshaped the dynamics of my entire family. Amidst the challenging waves and currents of being in survival mode, my teenage daughter Arin demonstrated remarkable resilience, stepping into the role of caretaker with grace and strength. While Arin juggled her responsibilities of maintaining academic excellence and dedicating 5-6 days a week to a competitive dance team, Arin epitomized strength beyond her years.
Within the whirlwind of medical appointments, prescriptions, treatments, and surgeries, I realized that the fight against cancer wasn't solely mine—it was a collective family journey. For some families, the financial strain, despite insurance coverage, starkly highlights the burdensome costs of this journey. My breast cancer journey ignited a profound commitment to extend a helping hand to families navigating similar paths.
Driven by firsthand experience, Arin and I recognize the overwhelming expenses accompanying unforeseen medical challenges. We resolved to ease the burden by championing fundraising initiatives, offering support to families grappling with unexpected costs.
Our journey with competitive dance for Arin also illuminated the steep expenses involved in pursuing extracurricular passions. Drawing from this insight, I embarked on a mission to assist dancers and their families in raising funds for tuition, costumes, and competition fees. This realization birthed our purpose—a commitment to alleviate financial strain and empower individuals facing health challenges or pursuing their dreams.
Today, standing at the intersection of compassion and action, we provide a platform brimming with diverse fundraising opportunities. Rooted in empathy and firsthand understanding, our initiatives emerge from a shared journey—one that seeks to uplift and support others in their unique paths.
